Stephanie Stabley

Sonus School of Music Clarinet, Saxophone, Violin, Cello, and Mallet Percussion Instructor

Biography

Stephanie Stabley is a licensed music educator with 18 years experience in teaching. She graduated with a degree in music education from Houghton College and is currently finishing requirements for a Master’s Degree in Special Education with a focus in literacy. Concurrently, Stephanie is entering her tenth year as a PK - 5 General Music, Band, Orchestra, and Chorus Teacher for the Cecil County Public Schools system. Her primary instrument is clarinet, which she began studying at seven years old.

 

Choosing to maintain skills in both the vocal and instrumental fields, Stephanie has participated in and led choirs, small vocal ensembles, concert bands, orchestras, and small instrumental ensembles. In the vocal realm, she has assisted, led, and conducted the All County Elementary Chorus for Cecil County, as well as bringing the largest elementary chorus to the Elkton High School Choral Festival. She has also performed as part of a choral ensemble at Carnegie Hall. In the instrumental field, Stephanie has served as pit percussion tech for North East High School, Bohemia Manor High School, Cecil County Indoor Drumline, and the Cecil County Indoor Winds (2018 and 2019 Atlantic Coast Champions, Tournament Indoor Association).
